My right wrist hurts. Want to know why?

I'm telling you anyway. I've recently gotten back into playing Drummania. Specifically, 9th mix, since I have it at my local arcade again. For those who don't know what Drummania is...it's a drum simulator, similar to the game Konami's releasing in the US called Rock Band. However, it specializes heavily in j-rock. One of my favorite genre's of music.

The songs range in difficulty, based on beats per minute and how many times you'll be actually striking the drum pads. For example, one of my favorite songs (the shortened version of Ukifune that's used in this game) is 134 bpm and has a difficulty of 15 in easy, 31 in standard, and 58 in expert.

Now, WHY does my wrists, arms and ankle hurt? Not because I've been playing Ukifune, I assure you. It's a relatively simple song to play, even in expert (and very fun, plus very, VERY catchy. You need to hear it sometime.)

No, it's because I've been playing to master the song 'Funky Sonic World'. A standard song with a BPM of 400 (!!) and a difficulty of 87 in expert. Did I happen to mention that it's a 1:47 song that has close to 1400 notes to it? That's about 13-14 notes a SECOND.

This is what I call fun. I'm a masochistic bastard.
